Informatics and healthcare technologies are essential in providing safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. Nurses use these tools to gather and interpret data, support clinical decision-making, and improve healthcare delivery. Through my clinical experiences, I have used resources such as Epocrates for psychopharmacology to verify medications. I have also seen how telehealth can improve access to care, especially for patients in rural areas, while supporting communication and continuity of care.

An area for growth for me is gaining more experience with telehealth, as I currently have limited hands-on experience using it in practice. Moving forward, I will continue to strengthen my skills in this area to support safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
