Professionalism in nursing involves accountability and demonstrating the values of the nursing profession. It includes having a respectful demeanor, being open to different perspectives, and working collaboratively with other disciplinaries. Through my clinical experiences, I have begun to form my professional identity by taking responsibility for my actions, communicating effectively, and treating all patients with compassion and respect.

I have also recognized the importance of maintaining professionalism in all situations, even when faced with challenges or differing viewpoints. An area for growth for me is continuing to build confidence while maintaining composure and professionalism in difficult situations. Moving forward, I will continue to develop my professional identity by upholding nursing values, demonstrating accountability, and working collaboratively to provide high-quality patient care.
