Professionalism in advanced practice nursing includes accountability, collaboration, respect, and ethical practice. I have demonstrated these qualities in clinical by holding myself accountable and admitting what I do not know. I maintain respect with all patients and other staff members. I have witnessed and been involved in collaboration with multiple team members. I practice ethics by treating all patients equally and maintaining integrity. Growth in this area for me will be to gain more confidence in myself as a practitioner while remaining humble and seeking help when needed. Maintaining professionalism is difficult when treating patients with opposing views. I will continue to work on being professional and kind even in the face of challenges and difficulties.
